Hello, thanks for stopping by my gallery and leaving such a fun story about those darn glasses. When we were growing up, we all had similar clothes, glasses, the geeky ones, shoes, etc. It is not like today the kids have to get the best of the best and oh lord if somebody had the same shirt look out......back to the store. You are one of the most courageous woman I will ever get to know. Your story is so incredible of all you have been through. You have been strong ever since a young lady. Some people show their true colors when you needs support and they walk away, you had just people. People fear what they don't understand therefore their ignorance shows in their cheap words. They don't know how much words can hurt. Here you will find the most wonderful group of ladies who are like family. We all are BFF.s forever. I also have been undergoing difficult times with my disabilities and the love, support, prayers, etc. really has helped me get back on my feet and scrapping again. Many hugs my friend. Take care Linda

After reading your bio, I just want to say that those "friends" were not "real" friends if they disowned you because of your illness. Good for you that you fought back through your writing an article in the local paper. You made some new friends after that ordeal and I hope that you are still in touch with at least one of them. Real friends last a lifetime. Their friendship and support is unconditional. Hugs, Fran
