Dearest One, I wanted to post you a special note to let you know that I've not forgotten you but have been very ill for quite some time now - mostly bedridden since December of last year and am finally, after much prayer, and a wonderful doctor who has been guided by God's Hand I am starting to feel much better and have been told that by Christmas I should be back to my old self - hopefully better than my old self, lol! I pray that I'm able to get back to scrapbooking soon as I've missed it and all my scrapper friends. May God's Blessings pour out over you and yours as we welcome in this wonderful Fall season and the coming holidays!

Just checked out your gallery. You do some really talented photography. However, I haven't a clue what POD means. I was raised in SE Alaska (My mom still lives in Ketchikan), but now I live in Washington state. Looks like you've been all over from your pictures, but you've not specified where you live. HI Just found your comment and ? on my POD photo 2 colors.. No they are not roses. this is a hybred hibiscus My Dd says it can't make up its mind what color it wants to be, lol so it just does them both at times.

I was so far behind on the POD thread that I just ran into your message telling me congrats for winning the July photo of the month challenge. I appreciate that :) As far as project 365... I really want to do one now... maybe not even 365, but a photo a week with some journaling about that week. Hope that you find time to catch up on yours!

What a coincidence, I shattered my elbow too. Glad you can still do everything okay!! If I overwork mine it hurts but most of the time it doesn't bother me.

Kim my POD for the 8th was taken at the Indianapolis Zoo. I spent 6 hours there with friends today..normally we (kids & I) are done within 2 hours! I got to really look around today!

Aww, thanks for saying my fireworks photo went into your favorites. That's a nice feeling. :) And the Northern Lights have been pretty quiet up there, hey? I would love to see them in Alaska when they are really bright... we get them once in a great while, and I LOVE them.

Hi Kim! Thanks for your nice comments on my dog Adalae. To answer your question, she is a Shichon which is part Bichon Frise and part ShihTzu, aka a "Teddy Bear" dog. Maybe that's why she loves her "teddy bear" so much! She probably thinks it is another dog! She weighs 10 lbs, but she looks like she weighs a lot more with all that hair. She is a good doggie! Very spoiled though. I had never allowed pets in our house before, but 2 yrs. ago I let my children finally have a pet. I am so glad I did, because I don't know what I would do with out her!
BTW, I always enjoy looking at your photos. You takes some very nice pictures!
