Description: I struggled with this one. I had another shot, but I'm not ready to share.

Aw, preparing for winter, which I do dread; however, there is enjoyment in fires and hot chocolate. The dead tree will keep us warm all winter. Assuming it's ever cold enough. lol.

(we've had three fires so far!!! --ok, ok, ok, so the windows were open to make the house cold enough, a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do.)

Good shot, I dig the texture.

Love this pic. It's been chilly enough here for fires for awhile. There is nothing like a fire in the stove, I know!

LOL - I wish we could convert our gas fireplace to wood burning, but DH has allergies to smoke - so.... we make do with gas. Neat picture - really love all the textures of the bark, lichen, sawed edges... really neat
