Description: Journaling: I was always told not to feed stray cats. BUT I just didnt have the heart to see an animal go hungry. One day outside my door, I saw this ragged little creature, hungry, thirsty, matted, but with so much love to give. I started by slipping him a few pieces here and there. I think that he knew that he had come to the right house. Wasnt long before I had named him, we called him RASCAL.

He came everyday for breakfast and dinner, but as the weather started getting colder I worried how long he would last outside. Sometimes I would let him in to eat, to get out of the cold. We even built him a shelter outside with boxes and styrofoam. I knew I couldnt keep him and it was only right to find him a good home. I turned to the Humane Society, and they gladly accepted him. "Turning him in" was very very hard, but it was all worth it when I found out that he had been adopted by a woman that fell in love with him the minute she saw him. Just like I did.

(I smudged my vellum after I finished my page, everytime I see it I want to re-do it but I never have)

I have a big heart as well and can't seem to turn strays or abandoned away either. All four of my furbabies needed a home and I fell in love with them the moment I saw them. I'm glad he has a loving home.
