Description: Recipe:



1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups brown sugar,packed
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
dash of cinnamon
1/4 cup sour milk
1 cup mashed bananas
((walnuts, macadamias,
dried cranberries, chocolate chips (optional))

Cream together the butter, vanilla and sugar.
Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Stir in dry ingredients alternately with sour milk
and mashed bananas.
(To make sour milk, and 1 tbsp vinegar
or lemon juice to milk to make 1 cup)
Mix until smooth.
Bake in greased 5x9 in loaf pan
or 2 3x7 inch pans.
Bake 50-60 mins at 350.

* I have used Buttermilk
for sour milk,
* I bake mine in my mini loaf pans.

Love the monkey's. Love banana bread too. I'm going to give this one a swing. Didn't know you were such a good cook tooooooo!! As in scrapper.
