the way i did the picture was totally inspired by a lo that "Jersey" recently did. i just love all of her stuff!! thanks girl!! journaling is just a way to remember the events of the day. these were the events of Thursday, his birthday, but i really struggled with the lo. finally added the Paislee Press paper last night & it all finally fell into place!! & yes... i'm one of those moms that lets her kids skip school on their birthday and have chocolate chip cookies for breakfast!! ha!! he had fun though, so it's worth it!! ------ JOURNALING: Wow! What fun we had today! Since it was your birthday, I let you stay home from school. We all stayed up really late last night and then all slept in this morning. As soon as we got up, you got to open all of your presents. Since Daddy is out of town, he called you to wish you happy birthday and you were so excited to tell him what all you got. We all stayed in our pj’s until mid-day. Then Alyssa took a 2-hour nap while I scrapbooked and you played your XBox. When she woke up we all went to Chuck E Cheese and bought a TON of tokens, ate a TON of pizza and played a TON of games! Then, we went down the street to Ms. Gretchen’s house and ate dinner. You and Alyssa had a blast playing together with all of the dog toys, of all things! When we left there, we drove out to Bebe’s house and picked up Brooke. He let her come spend the night with us since it was your birthday and she’s your favorite dog in the whole world. Once we FINALLY got home at 9:40, I got Alyssa to bed while you fit it one more episode of Power Rangers SPD. Then, we both had a huge glass of chocolate milk and called it a day. I **hope** (typo fixed) you had fun and felt super special for your birthday! I had so much fun watching you turn 6!
I love you so much!!!
