So I typed out a really long description, then SB.com decided they didn't want to upload that description... bummer... will try again!!!
OK... so I'd LOVE to say I got all of this gorgeous stuff from Ikea or Pottery Barn, but I didn't. I'm really fortunate to have an awesome husband who salvaged all of this for me. The shelves came from an elderly couples dining room where he got PAID to take these out. I about fell on the floor when he walked through the door with them! The hardwood flooring was leftover from another job he did and was sitting in our garage forever. The island in the middle is leftover from our own master bathroom remodel and is the leftover sink/vanity. He stuck a piece of of melamine on top and wheels on the bottom, I painted and, voila, moveable workstation. I generally scrap here, in the middle of the room, where everything is close reach, I can look out the window and/or watch a movie on my computer. Inside the island are two drawers, the top one is for all of my writing utensils, and the bottom drawers is for all of my punches. The main cabinet is stashed with extra purged stuff I'll be giving away on my blog.
Thanks for looking!
As of 3/2/2010 I have a video of my scrapbook room posted on my blog: www.saracarns.blogspot.com
