My Great Uncle Bud was one of those guys who found his calling when WWII broke out. Born in 1904, he had been a playboy for most of his adult life, but loved flying. The War gave him a real purpose and he did well with his military career, traveling the world, marrying late in life in Paris too! He didn't have children, but I was very fond of him and want to scrap some of his life. After all, he also loved cats and treated his cat, Junior, like a beloved child!
The top photo was taken at the beginning of the war, probably early 1942. The middle one is his college photo, circa 1922 and the bottom one was probably from the late 1950's. More of the Swirlydoos monthly kit here...just loved this one!
A little "FYI"...I print out the descriptions I write on here and glue them to the back of the layouts. While my layouts themselves don't have much journaling, I want to leave my relatives a bit more.
