This is my younger daughter - from her first deployment overseas - taken in Mozul, Iraq. She's VERY proud of her PFC rocker and her M-16 rifle. I'm just proud of her.
She's home safe in Alaska for now. I'm not sure when they'll call her up for Afghanistan, but it's coming. She's an American soldier, and it's her job to go where her country needs her.
It's my job to be proud and pray for her safety.
The papers are from the new Glory line by Authentique.
I did this project as my DT Vintage Class project for my LSS, but it's also going to be my Scraplift your Favorites Challenge entry.
Luzma is one of my very favorite artists - her work always inspires me to be better than I am now. This layout is a lift of her beautiful "I Love You This Much" which you can see here.
Thanks for taking a look at my work. I treasure your comments and suggestions!
