These photos were taken at my son, Adam's, 6th birthday party. All together, 10 of his little friends came, most dressed as indians. We built a little teepee out of cane poles and brown kraft paper and had a campfire and roasted hot dogs. Jerry and I dressed up in our Indian costumes, too. He read to the kids and took them on a "bear hunt" in our woods. I helped them do a little craft.
The design is based on a sketch by PageMaps. The title was cut on the Silhouette. I stamped a little teepee next to the title and had put the "10" up top and didn't like it - that's how there came to be smoke, I erased that "10" and moved it to the side of the "little", so then I had to make smoke trailing from the teepee to cover up my booboo. The title is chalked in two colors and inked and doodled. Then I added some grass and berries under the teepee and title. The leaves and acorns are stamped, hand cut and inked. The quote at the bottom is stamped and colored in with pens and hand cut. I sanded the edges of the photos and added a line of feather stitching across the bottom border. All labels are stamped with my vintage Labelon stamps. Thanks so much for looking!
