Girls' Weekend (right side)

These pics are from last fall when my mom, my sister-in-law, & I went to Blairsville and stayed at the cabin for a few days. I tried to get a pic of the pages side by side but could not for the life of me get a straight pic- oh well, at least with these you can see more detail. The design is based on a PageMaps sketch. I used papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Nutmeg" line. The chipboard leaf, brace, & acorn are also from the "Nutmeg" line. I punched out the brown & pink maple leaves and doodled around the edges with a Signo pen. The ribbon is by American Crafts. I cut out "Girls' Weekend" using the Cuttlebug. I used American Crafts rub-ons for "at the cabin." Journaling reads:

"Last fall Mama, Andrea, & I decided it was time to have a girls' weekend at Charlotte's cabin in Blairsville. Mama & I headed up after I got out of school on Thursday & Andrea drove over from Nashville to meet us there. The leaves were all turning & it was soo beautiful up there- we, of course, had to venture out one day to snap some photos of the fall foliage. Other than that, we stayed bundled up in the cabin scrapping, watching chick flicks, eating our favorite meals, & sitting in our rockers on the front porch, enjoying the cool weather. We even made a new friend while we were there- the neighbor's dog. We heard something scratching at the door one day, opened it & there he was. What a sweetie! We had such a good time that weekend & I am ready to go back!
