BREAKFAST AT ROCHELLE'S Scraps of Darkness

Tuesday morning while looking at all of your new and beautiful layouts, I noticed that my "pet" eagle had landed, with his breakfast, in my tree. I live on a small lake and he loves to sit in my tree hunting and eating. While he is fun to watch, and beautiful, I do worry about my fur babies getting out when he's on the prowl! He has been hanging out here since I returned from California in 1998. It's easy to see why they were picked to represent this great Nation of ours.
The wonderful items in December's Scraps of Darkness kit worked great for this photo. I added a couple of dies, mask and feathers. He let me take lots of pictures but I liked this one with his mouth wide open. Luckily, the fish that he is eating is not so visable! As always I was inspired by all of you wonderful artists! TFL

We were just at the San Diego Wild Animal Park and got some really great shots of the two bald eagles they have in captivity (poor things have broken wings that didn't mend properly and they can't be released back into the wild).
