This is my lo for the Boys Challenge and my attempt at doing a lo for the October Negative Space Challenge....I have a hard time doing negative space, so it was definitely a challenge. LOL

This lo was inspired by the lo found here http://pinterest.com/pin/107804984801452426/

I think most of this page is kind of obvious what I did, but here is how I did the background...I used a piece of shaped pp as a template and traced the outline onto my blue cs. I cut the blue cs into the shape, then used a small paintbrush to brush water along the edges of the blue cs, then used the Tonic Studios Scratcher to distress edges of the blue cs. I thhen matted the blue cs onto white cs. I sewed the small buttons to the scallops, then wrapped the twine around the buttons and sewed each end through the paper, so I ended up with knots on top of the page. I used glue dots to adhere the flowers to the corners of the page.
