Dia de las Madres (Mother's Day)

Journaling: Mother's Day, an important holiday in Nicaragua, is celebrated on May 30th. Schools and many businesses are closed. A cake is considered mandatory. Using her barrel oven, Juanita baked 19 this year, with one being for me (the rest were sold). The icing was meringue because any type of cream frosting would melt. We also had a nice dinner and fun evening. This is not crooked IRL, can't get a picture:)
