A lo about answered prayer. A terrible event in my life 10+ years ago was like a stain on my soul. It was something I'd shared with my children and I held that guilt for so long... Despite confessing it to God it was still deep in me. I spoke to two of my three children about it earlier this year - they have NO recollection of it whatsoever - it was like a blood red stain to me, its like a white page to them. This scripture, from Isaiah 1 v 18, says 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool'. How kind and loving is my heavenly Father that he not only forgives, but makes our sin as if it had never happened - what a miracle. This picture of my husband in his red jacket in the white snowscape just explained it beautifully!
