Grandparents

This lo ended up being totally different than what I had planned. I picked out papers with a dark red color and then decided I did not like the color that I wanted a redder red. However, i did not have my paper stash with me, i was cropping at work while the kids napped. Therefore I improvised with markers. This is all white paper except for the two strips of black at the top and bottom. The rest is colored with red and black markers. This is definitely a case of use your scraps! lol I made the "chipboard" flowers on the bottom by cutting multiple flowers and glueing them together to great more dimension. I printed the little ribbon strip using CK Becky font. The little quote reads: Child of my child, heart of my heart. Your smile bridges the years between us...I am young again discovering the world through your eyes. Youi have time to liten and I have time to spend. Delighted to gaze at familiar loved features made new in you again. Through me you'll see the past. In the present, we'll love one another as long as these moments last.
