Presenting Me...

Love the idea: might do one of these of myself. I'll give credit, of course.

SHCG: Great LO idea.... love the secret ninja strip. :) I do feel that the vertical stripe cuts up the page too much; I'd also like to see the descriptive strips pulled down closer to the photo so they feel more connected. I like where you were going with the black and white, but I would suggest going all the way with it instead of having the brown included, but then again, I'm a big fan of black and white!

SHCG: I like the concept of the LO but the placement throws me off. I would like to see something to tie your descriptive words tie in with the rest of the LO, like using the same black and white ribbon under each of the descriptive blocks. The other thoughts are to move your title card above your picture or move it above the descriptions and shifting your picture a bit to the right if needed. Love learning more about you.

SHCG: I like that you're capturing so much about yourself. And I like the overall feel of the black and white mixed with the very neutral brown color. I feel like had you clustered your black embellishments closer to the picture it would help draw the eye there and add some black embellishment to the upper left corner. Also, and this is a very, very personal thing, I wish that the pattern paper with the circles was more centered creating a line from the top loop of that down right over your head - I think that would have given more emphasis to your picture as well.

shcg - love the idea behind this LO. I feel like the flow to this page could use some altering, though. My eye keeps being dragged to the title block and away from the photo and journaling. I'd love to see the title block above the photo with those switching places with the journaling and moving the strip a bit more right. I think that would flow better, but I wouldn't know until it was tried. Thank you for the insight into you!

SHCG: Really pretty! I feel like the ribbon running across from top to bottom divides the page too much, I think it would help if the ribbon stopped wth the lighter colored paper and didn't extend onto the black background paper. I think it would also help if you added some sort of black border around your picture overtop the black and white ribbon to break the line a little.

SHCG - Great scrap subject & nice pic of you. Elegant pp selection. My focus is kind of split here on this page...w/ the journaling on the left & the eyecatching houndstooth pp (ribbon?) on the right, & your pic just placed in the middle. I can visualize overlapping the "presenting me" block over the vertical houndstooth, to break up that attention-grabbing pattern. And I can also visualize adding a black photo mat to give the pic some nice emphasis, as it certainly deserves to be more of a focal point than it is now. Visual-flow aside, some lovely elements so far!
