This is of my DGD Brooke this year on our vacation at the beach. She just turned 3. She wouldn't have anything to do with these sunglasses until I told her they were Barbie glasses. Then i couldn't get them off of her. She even kept them on in the room. LOL! In this picture she is laying out by the pool in a lounge chair. if you look at the lens's you can see the pool area. LOL!
This is for several challenges:
Scrap your Vacation challenge. Your LO had to be 50% Hot Pink and use lime green stitching.
Fablady's 'Cool Shades' Challenge, the twist was use polka dots. There are tone on tone polka dots in the light pink paper of the flower I made, and on the darker paper, there are some tiny orange polka dots, plus the button.
the cute little flamingo with the sunglasses is a stamp form Art Warehouse, and I hand cut the scallops so they wouldn't be too perfect. Like you couldn't tell. LOL!!!
I want to give a shout out to some of my girls, for the products and inspiration:
Delaina, (sewscrapsleep) for the pink with the hearts background pp and the pp used in the flower.
Jackie (Anderjackie) for the cutsie little butterfly. I just backed it with some vellum.
Christine, (Yesiamagrandmommy) for the idea of using the button in the flower and helping me decide with flower to use. LOL!!
Helen, (MissSweden) for the tutorial on her blog on how to make these cute little flowers. I first made a lollipop one, but Christine and I decided that these strip ones would be cuter on this LO>
