first cast fish

Journaling: October 4, 2008 - Forest Lake. Today I used my new St. Croix rod and Shimano reel for the first time, and on literally my very first cast, I caught my biggest fish to date - a 31" Northern.

This is for the 2 Page Sketch Challenge - Bonus Sketch.

Also my 3rd LO for December Girls, Girls, Girls.

Notice Abigail in the bottom of the pics waiting for the fish slime/blood to drip on her (Northern are very slimy fish). LOL - my oh-so-not-prissy toy dog. :)

As an example for my January '13 Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: New - the LO is about my new fishing rod & reel, and I used new buttons, alpha, and journaling card.
