These are photos of my dd and my bff's 4 children. I think this was the last year (2008) that we exchanged birthday presents. We kept up with Christmas for another couple years, but it was just too much, and frankly, none of these kids needed any more 'stuff.' Anyway, journaling says: It's getting harder and harder to find time to celebrate all the birthdays together throughout the year, so this year, we decided to pick a weekend in July -- halfway to Christmas -- when Cassie and I were home from the lake to spend at the Clarks' and have a celebration for all five kids at once. Plus, Karen and I got to scrap all weekend. On Friday, Cassie spent some time with Grandma while I got my haircut, and then we headed over to Karen and Brian's. Zeke wasn't home the first night, so we did presents and cake Saturday. Sunday, we spent the afternoon at the Munster pool.
There's not much to this LO - when I was done, I realized I didn't use any embellishments at all, but I wasn't feeling it. I had 31 photos that I narrowed down to these 13. I cut the frame for the top left photo with the Hannah Montana Cricut cart. I put a tab under each photo along the bottom left with each kid's name and birthday: Grace - April 7, Cassie - April 16, Jonah - June 8, Zeke - August 7, Mollie - November 14. The tab under the column of cake photos has the dates of the weekend. The tab next to the top right photo of Cassie trying to play with a cat has the name of said cat: Calpurnia. Since all three girls are wearing Hannah Montana nightgowns, I used old Disney HM pp's. I printed the journaling on vellum. I cut a lot of letters on my Cricut that I don't end up using - usually because I decide to recut them in a different size - and I save them, so I was able to find enough random letters to complete this title.
