This is the second layout done with the #55 sketch for Keeping the best. I was trying to capture Makara's preteen personality. She's almost 13 so needless to say her moods are all over the place, one minute she's soft and all that's girly then the next thing you know she's informing me that she's what she calls "emo". She hasn't given me the full definition of what "emo" entails other than a little funky, a touch of grungy, and just a pinch of girly. I guess you learn something new everyday with a teenager in the house. TFL
