A photo of me and my two brothers...this is some more of that fabulous Graphic 45 ppr!!! I just love it!
I used another of those wonderful flourishes from Niklindesigns at Esty. Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
This is a picture of me, Randy, and Mike. I'm not sure of the exact year, but I believe it was taken in 1953. I was about 3 years old, Randy was 4 years old, and Mike was 6 years old. We didn't have television, we didn't have air conditioning, our phones were rotary dial, and we only had one black phone in the house. Our parents didn't buy us toys and games; we used our imagination and made up games to play. We played outside – all day long if Mama would let us. She didn't have to worry about us playing outside the way that parents have to worry about their children now, and she knew if we misbehaved, that one of the neighbors would reprimand us and would let her know what we'd been doing. We may not have been rich with material things, but all of our needs were met and we had parents who loved us unconditionally and were not afraid to correct us when we were wrong. Yes…life was simple then…..
