Isabelle at the strawberry patch. We went at the end of June and believe it or not, it was so cold that the people who owned the farm were actually wearing gloves to direct us to our portion of the patch!!! Of course, we forgot jackets for the girls, so the ended up wearing ours and we froze! The wind was very high...partly because the field was so exposed.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience; Madeleine filled a small basket on her own with only a little help from mom.
This layout was a little bit of a departure for me. I don't usually go for the collage style but I saw these free templates on the scrapbooksetc. website and thought I'd give it a whirl. It's a nice clean way to do a multiple pic layout and pretty simple too!
Isabelle was keeping Daddy company...the journaling reads:
This was your first trip to the strawberry patch. Although you were unable to eat any of the delicious berries we picked, you still enjoyed giving Daddy a hard time as he attempted to hold you and fill his basket! We lost some good berries to those roving hands!!
This is my first layout in ages, and it doesn't look like I'll be contributing too many new layouts over the next little while. Thanks to all my friends who keep checking in just to make sure I'm still alive. My apologies for not getting into everyone's galleries to make comments on your most recent layouts. I promise that as soon as time permits, I will attempt to catch up! Thanks for looking!
