Just a few photos of my newest granddaughter, Maggie when she was about 9 days old. The ppr is from Paper Hearts call Baby Checks. The Scalloped piece is Jenny Bowlin. The edges were smooth, but I trimmed them with some scalloped scissors. The big "I love you" is a Daisy D rubon that I've had forever. I stamped the gerber daisies with a Flourishes stamp and colored them with Copics. I cut the tag with a Spellbinder die leaving the daisies hanging off the edge. Pearl swirls are Prima. The Sweet Dreams tag was printed on the computed and cut out with a Spellbinder die. I didn't start off with a popped up title, but I messed the tag up when I tried to put an old rubon on it and only half of it stuck...BIG mess! So...I definitely wasn't going to redo it, so I just made a tag to go OVER the mess up. The two little tickets were cut with the Tim Holtzs ticket die cut and then stamped with "good for one kiss" . The bottom of the photo strip was punched with the deep floral MS punch. Then I tied a ribbon around the bottom of the photos. The quote, "you are a miracle to me" is something I've had forever, that I found in my stash while looking for something else. It's amazing what you find when you dig through all your "stuff"! LOL!
Journaling is tucked behind the top photo and reads:
Maggie, you were just 9 days old when these photos were made. I laid you up on your big sisterís bed and you just snuggled up and went right back to sleep. I love you, little girl!
