Another photo taken of my DD and her family by Charles Walton (Southern Living photographer) on Mother's Day this year. I love the colors they chose to wear. I used some of the new Echo Park Sweet Summertime papers for this layout. The title work was cut with the Silhouette, the dark scallop was cut with a QK die and the smaller scallop and the big cloud are stickers from the Sweet Summertime collection. The pinwheels were cut from the back of the teal ppr and then highlighted with a black pen. I popped them with pop dots and added a bit of stickles. I tried to define the edges of the title letters with a pink Copic marker, then added a few doodled dots to each letter. The smaller white clouds were cut with a Papertrey Ink cloud dies. I also added a little hand stitching in the upper left corner. The butterfly is a MS punch that I added a little bling and stickles too. Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
It's hard to believe as I look at this photo that you are my baby girl and now look at you with a family of your own. I'm so proud of you. You're a wonderful Mama, and it's easy to see that your family is a happy family. My grandchildren are beautiful. I wish I could see you all more often, but I'm ever so grateful that you have family photos done frequently so that I can keep up with how fast the kids are growing! Maybe one day before they're grown, I'll retire and get to visit more often.

Thanks so much for stopping by! :D
(The black border was added in PSE so that the edges of the layout would be visible)
