Description: This is a very unique, maybe even odd, page; as it is a picture of my thumb next to Katie's when she so very small. The picture is actually the entire picture faded in the back with the thumbs focused in on (picture in picture) in the forefront of the frame. I used fabric to make a pocket for the journalling that is normally hidden, but is pictured both ways; hidden, and pulled out with th use of a silver fiber. There is also a beautiful Pink grosgrain ribbon that adorns the top and a lime polka dot that accents the pink and the bottom left corner where I placed a fabric circle for a silver "C" monogram charm for our family name. I took this picture because I realized that Katie has the same hands as I, and I have realized that I have the same hands as my mother who has since passed on. It is the little things like Mommy that will make us never forget their "touch" in our lives.
