My DGS, Jacob on the second day of school. I used the new Bo Bunny Learning Curve collection for this layout. The numbers across the bottom were cut with the Silhouette as was the title work. The "slow school zone" is a chipboard embellie from the BB collection and the "check me out" is a sticker from the same collection. I punched the edges of the blue paper and the journaling pull at the top of the page with a MS loopy punch. The second part of the title "when you're in kindergarten" was printed on the computer, cut apart, inked and layered on a piece of the blue paper. Journaling is tucked behind the top mat and reads:
Jacob, you were so excited to begin Kindergarten. One the first day of school, your mama drove you and took you to your classroom. One the second day of school, your Mama brought you over to our house, where you catch the bus each morning. I don't know who was more nervous, you or your Mama. You're a big boy now and each morning your Mama drops you at Grandma and Grandpa's house about 6 am so that you can catch the bus at 6:50 am. It means I have to get up earlier than usual, but it also means that I get to spend a little time with just you! Boy! You're growing up SO fast!
