This priceless photo is another one from my Dad's collection. It is one of very few that we have of my Great Grandmother. She's pictured here with her three children, Alec, Jim and Elizabeth (my Grandmother) in approximately 1918-1919. From the looks of the photo, the family was enjoying a day out in the country, somewhere near Glasgow, Scotland, at what would have been the last days of the Great War. Dark days for Britain, but at least here, the family is enjoying some quality time together. Certainly a special time, to be remembered always.
I loved doing this lo, heritage/vintage lo's are definitely my favorites.
The frame around the photo was created with a lot of fussy cutting and piecing papers together.
