Blue Crabs

The only two we caught on our vacation, October 12th. These Atlantic Blue Crabs, both females about 6 inches from tip to tip (sides). The darker looking one is green with algae, she was caught in very murky, shallow waters, while the other one was caught in deeper waters. Chances are the green one lived most of her life in the shallows. Both were very meaty and tasty.
