Welcome to a new week! Hope you are having a great start to the week. I have had the flu for over a week now, and today was the first day that I actually felt like getting out of bed, so I guess I am off to a good start :)

Scraps of Darkness unveiled it's February Kit-Simple Pleasures on the 29th, and I am finally feeling well enough to dive into it, so I have a 12 x12 Canvas piece that I would love to share with you. It is based on the gorgeous sketch by SuePup that was included in this month's kit, and I did lots of technique work using the wonderful Art Anthology mediums that were included in this month's Color & Creativity Add Ons. It features a Vintage Image that I had picked up at Magic Moonlight Studio, and then I restored it and colorized it.

I came up with this really cool technique that I used to adhere some of the kit paper onto corrugated board, then peel it back to get a beautiful peeled wallpaper effect. I am working on the tutorial for that, so please be sure to check back on my blog for that in the near future.
