Scraps of Darkness has revealed it's April Kit and now it is the Design Team's turn to show off their creations with it!!
The kit is loaded with the latest Bo Bunny Mama Razzi 2 and Kaisercraft products, and is so perfect for capturing those candid memories.
This layout is my take on the sketch created by Sue pup and it features some fun photos that I snapped of my son Draven outside one day when he was around 8 years old. That was 10 years ago!!! It is so hard to believe that he is about to turn 18. I used the corrugated piece from the kit to form a fun "memo board" that I could hang some of my favs from that day on. I did lot of painting with Art Anthology Dimensional Paints, and with the Distress Paints that were in this month's Color Add on, as well as background stamping and layering. The tag can be pulled out for journaling.
The Chipboard pieces are Film Strip ATCs from my Scrapmatts DT stash.

I just love all the different, creative and unique items that Mel packs into a kit and it's add ons. You always discover something to spark your imagination and take it in so many different directions. No matter what your style, or if you like to keep it on the page or take it off the page, you will find the Scraps of Darkness kits limitless, and with all the goodness packed inside, you will find yourself reaching over and over to use the quality, cutting edge products.
I so hope you find the time to create this week, or at least the time to do something that you love. It is those little things that enrich our lives and bring us happiness~ Hugs~Renea
