I drew out what I wanted and the dimensions and hubby got angle iron and closet board and made this for me. It currently hold 30 cropper hopper folders full of paper. The sterilite drawers are mainly scrap paper but also hold some of my paper that I have a huge amount of (bright kids paper), the only collections of paper I keep seperate by manufacturer (Basic Grey) envelope ugly paper (I'll never use it in a layout but it will make great security envelopes ;-) and some other multi color paper that I have no idea how to catergorize.

This rack is on rollers and is about an inch shorter than my countertop so I can slide it under the counter when I'm not working. If friends come to scrap, I can roll it into the dining room and have all my paper handy while scrapping with friends. It is HEAVY with the weight of the paper so hubby made it out of industrial angle iron and welded it together. I LOVE it....My paper takes up less room than ever and is very easy to look through and find just what I need.

**This is an updated picture . The hanging files have all my solid cardstock and single color patterned paper in it as well as themed paper. The bottom 4 drawers on each stack have all my scraps of paper sorted by color. The top three drawers on each side have patterned paper that I have a LOT of because their really isn't a good category for. I have them labeled as bright kids paper, multi colored darks, a baby drawer (includes any baby embellishments in this one), an ugly envelope paper drawer ;-) and a drawer for Basic Grey collections. I also have a drawer called hodge podge that is stuff that still needs to be sorted....mainly sheets of alphabets that I will eventually snap out and put in ziplock bags with my alphabet collection. It is stuff I have to think about how I want to organize it.

***for those with hubbies that weld.....Larry used 1 x 1 angle iron on the bottom and the sides. He used 1 inch flat iron on the top. The bottom shelf is a 3 foot x 15 inch piece of closet board. He made the bottom frame first to fit the closet board very tight. The sides can be as high as you want. We went with 46 inch sides because it game me lots of room under the folders but still slid under my counter. He used the flat iron to make the top frame and I used it as the rails...it fit the cropper hopper perfectly.
