This is for Page Maps Etc. - Sketch 4.
It's also for the VLB challenge to scrap a pic from over 10 years ago. This is from 1976.
A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for something in one of our cabinets and I came across a shoebox of photos. I have several of these shoeboxes, but this one came from my grandmother's condo. For many reasons that I won't go into, I never opened the box. That day I did, and found TONS of photos that I'd never seen before, including this one of my mom. She was gorgeous, wasn't she? This was taken in the Bahamas -- I think she and my dad were celebrating their 30th birthdays there.
I did most of this at an Archivers crop last Saturday. This started out for the monthly color challenge, but I didn't want to add brown to the teal and lime, and for the Four Categories challenge, but I got lazy and didn't want to make my own flowers today, so I just used some embellies and made the little cluster on the bottom of the pic. My Cameo did the rest; I cut "HOW SHE" in reversed out type blocks, and backed them with white cardstock. I cut out "glowed" three times, stacked and pop-dotted the word, and lightly inked it with distress inks.
