Hi there, it is already 15 th reveal at Sketchabilities today, and here is my entry.
It is a picture from my youngest son who is always looking for: how far can I go?
He jumps always from everything, no matter or it is in the water , street, or snow.
The titel is fter a Swiss song I love by GOLA:
When you think back in your life you realize that you have to do the crazy stuff when you are young and wild.
Even though I worry always about the crazy things my boys do , at the same time I realize, that you have to do it because life askes a lot when you become older.
The beautiful sketch from Karan Gerber was just right for what I wanted with this picture, the triangle in the water was my starting point.
I was very happy that the colors from Another Mixed Media Challenge did fitt so well with this picture.
I always like some mixed media on my pages , and thats what their challenges are all about.Take a look at their site, the 2 week challenges are super!
I saw some winecorks lying around at work and I love the texture of them, so I cut them apart and used it on my page.
Some photopaper leftovers , I write the text on it with a sharpie and than colored the strips with a alcohol ink. I drys quick on the photopaper, very nice!!
To give it some life I dry brushed gesso over it
The pink strips is velvet paper I got in my scraps of darkness kit, cut and stamped them with purple Stazon .
Crepepaper, tiles, cork and13 arts beads.
The flowers painted with inka gold . Because my inka gold dryed out I mixed it with water to get a shimmery paint. I also use it on the sunburst mask to create the water splasing around.
Water is not gold, but he.....when the sun shines the right way........colorfreedom
Art Anthology crystals, Lindys Stamp Gang mist , embossing powders and colorbox mixed media ink on this page.
