Entered in a challenge over on YMBD.com. I started to scrap pictures I had taken at Waters Farm Days. I am doing an album for my father. This place is owned by the town of Sutton, the historical Commission runs the farm year round. They host a few events each year. In October they have an open house if you will. My father and his co-horts are part of this 1800's living farm. He is the blacksmith. This is a picture of the barn where Apple Crisp is sold. I grew up helping my father run these events every year as well as my own children as they grew...It's a very special place for me!!! PP's are K & Company Brenda Walton "Brookfield" Scrap pack to go. Also used black cardstock and corragated cardboard for matting purposes. Base page and corr. cardboard inked with Tim Holtz distressing inks. Title lettering, Large "A" is chip chatter, then Kelly Panacci and stickos, Rub-on by Basic Grey, Embellie pages cut out of Farmers Almanac and matted on Black cardstock, Flower by Paperbilities, leaves and acorns purchased at M's, felt drangonfly was in my stash..added K & Company gems. I must add.... inspiration for using Black cardstock on the matting and handmade embellies came from two of my favorite artists...2dogs and Catz... I love their beautiful works!!
