First I like to say WOW you are all so talented I feel really lucky to be apart of this community. This is my first contest ever and the only site I've ever submitted my work to so I'm a bit nervous but excited. Okay now that I've said that out loud and taken a deep breath here it goes.
This is a LO of my wonderful, precious son when he was 12 days old. I used some photo editing on the picture to give it a dreamy look(hope that comes accross). Thanks for looking!
The poem reads:
Someday, he'll be a big-time movie star
or a fifth-grade English teacher. Maybe he won't.
Or maybe he'll travel, send you postcards from China, phone you from Paris. Someday, he's going to be a big, strong man able to carry you in his arms. One day, he'll have his own hopes and dreams, not knowing that once upon a quiet time, you closed your eyes and made a wish to one day have him in your life.
The journaling on the hidden tag under the picture reads:
Your Aunty Trish gave me a baby shower card with this poem written in it. When I read it I was flooded with emotions. It said everything I was feeling about how you were a wonderful wish come true, all the hopes and dreams of what you might accomplish when your grown. I hope you will always know how much we love you and that you can be anything and everything.
