I have wonderful childhood memories of visiting my grandma and of her coming to Florida and visiting me. However, I had not seen my grandparents in five years. However, at 80 years old, my grandma no longer travels. Mom and I suggested we bring the boys to them. Grandma was hesitant about all of us coming to visit at once. But after sharing with her that I want to see her and my fear of something happening to her, she welcomed us for a visit.
We flew to Michigan and spent some wonderful quality time together. And we are thankful for the time we got to spend together as a family.
P.S. Grandpa was there too...just not in these photos
