Caught in the Act

SHCG: What a great moment you captured here! I love this! I agree with most of the comments already posted. I'd like to see the "Dad's pet" tag mounted on rust or yellow to hide that strip of short ribbon. Your flourishes rock! Are those hand made? On the photo and the border? Amazingly rad! This is layout is hilariously superb!

SHCG: You have such an eye for placement. This LO is fabulous. I would maybe suggest a couple thing. First, switch out that bottom piece of ribbon and use the same ribbon as the top. And also possibly ink around the journaling.

SHCG: What a great photo. Luv the yellow flowers. They bring out the yellow in the bird. Only comment is the "Dad's pet" text is so far away it left me wondering what he pet was?

SHCG: I love the moments you capture on your pages. This one is too funny. Tweety really does look guilty! I never would have thought to use that type of paper for straight journaling, and I love that! It's freeing to see that you don't confine yourself to the format of that paper. I like seeing that pp again, and it goes well with the striped pp. I also like the flourishes, especially on the photo, and that you used a textured bg cs. The yellow in the journaling block and in the felt flowers help to complement Tweety's yellow coat. However, I find the bottom ribbon to be very distracting. It seems to compete with the yellow and pulls my attention away from the photo. I'd replace it with another strip of that red ribbon with the white stitching. Great title, and very nice work, as usual.

SHCG: How cute is that photo. I like the placement of everything. The border on the top and bottom, the ribbons on the edge of the action. If you know what i mean. It all goes together well.

SHCG: I really like this lo, what a cute bird! I would suggest lowering the journaling piece into the center of the block it is on. I love the white rub-ons on the photo, and again, that retro paper is awesome.

SHCG - How cute that you captured this! Love the fresh & pretty kitchen-y feel you created w/ these colors, that leftover stamped pp, swirlies, ribbon & flower. I think that red & black paper could work if we saw it again on the right side of the pic. I'm visualizing shifting the photo left a little & adding a band of the red & black pp to the right of the photo, sort of horizontally "framing" the pic. I appreciate the little explanation oval of who Tweety is & that you scrapped this funny little moment!

SHCG: This is so cute. I bet Tweety really enjoyed his forbidden watermelon. I think the black/red paper is a bit too dark for the rest of the page. I would also move the "Dad's Pet" to be connected to one of the flowers. Love that you scrapped this, it is so cute!

SHCG: This picture is so funny! You used more of that red patterned paper which I just love! I am not too crazy about the striped red and black paper next to it. It kind of ends up being the center of attention because of the black in it and the picture should really be the focus. Maybe you could try replacing it with another piece of patterned paper which has more subtle colors in it. Love those felt flowers again and the red ribbon borders.

SHCG: Love the stamp you used at the top and bottom, adds a nice border to this. That paper definitely works here too, i love the pattern on it. If you wanted the picture to pop a little more, you could mat it on a thin white mat. Love the ribbon with the two different sheets of pp in that square. I think i'd move the journaling block down to be underneath the ribbon. So great you captured this picture! it's too funny
