My name is Jodi, and I love scrapbooking - it's my happy place and my saviour.
I got into scrapbooking madly about 4 years ago, but I have been setting my photos out in albums with journalling and embelishments for years.....who knew other people liked to do this too... I attended a Creative Memories class and caught the bug well and truely. I pretty much stayed with that style of scrapbooking, until a good friend directed me to a more crafty form of scrapbooking and i am gradually developing my own style.
I am married to a wonderful supportive man, and have two wonderful children, a boy 15 and a girl 12. Do they enjoy seeing their faces posted all over the internet on the form of my layouts - not really!!!
I am self employed. I have a balloon business called Back2Balloons and also a wedding decoration business call Wedding Elegance. I work from home which has great flexibility. I also am a creative memories consultant - however with my motto of use what ever products that express your creativity best, I'm not that great with promoting their products, but wonderful at encouraging my clients to express their creativity and personal flair.
I am also 100% committed to loosing weight. I started on Jenny Craig last September weighing in at 114 kilos. I am going really well and now weigh in at 88. I walked to our lookout everyday and also have a personalised gym program that i do 3 days a week.
Another passion I share with my family is archery. We travel all over to compete. My latest achievement is winning a WORLD GOLD MEDAL in my division of Freestyle Unlimited Grade B. My ambition is to achieve Grade A (which I did with my scores during that shoot) and compete in the next world titles in South Africa is A Grade and get into the top 5. A huge ask, but with dedication, I feel this can be achieved.
I am hoping to be able to share my passions and interests with other mums and make some great friends through this site.
