Hi everyone. My name is Patricia Komara (Patty). I live in the DC Metro area. I started scrapbooking in the fall of 2006 and found that I love making cards. I really want to push myself to do more scrapbook pages.

I enjoy all version of the craft (traditional, hybrid and digital) - but if I have to pick - hybrid wins. It offers the best of both worlds: the speed and endless flexibility of digital combined with the textural and hand crafted qualities of tangible paper crafting.

My artistic background includes formal training in watercolor, pencil sketching, 3-D design, book binding, graphic design, and design theory. My day job as an urban planner and landscape architect has enabled me to stay current with digital arts technologies since college, which means I've been using Adobe products for over 15 years. Yikes!)

I get so much inspiration from you all, so I hope you enjoy and find inspiration in my gallery as well.
