Hi Everyone!
My name is Christine and I am from Illinois. I have been scrapping for about 10 years now. In the free time I do get I love to make layouts for my children's books, and swap pages and items with fellow scrappers! I have 3 boys, 21, 18, and 16. They are all involved in sports and so I have a book in progress; for each of them, along with several other side projects like everyone else I am sure!
I love angels, fairies, mermaids, dreams and anything inspirational! I also like to crochet, bead, do counted cross stitch and read. I envy those of you who do your own hand drawings and paintings, that is one thing I can not do! My 18 year old son however is a wonderful artist, I don't know where he got it from though!
I watch a lot of scrapbooking shows, mainly DIY programs like Carol DuVall and Scrapbooking. I get a lot of ideas from there.
I have a Cricut Expression and I just wish I had more time to use it! I have several cartridges and am amazed at what this miracle machine can do! I want to make some wall art for my children's bedrooms soon!
My husband and I own our own Tree Service so I am busy throughout the day but unwind in the evenings and on weekends by scrapping. I did homedaycare for 18 years and quit a year ago December. Although I miss the children, I have a new founded independence not being tied down to little ones for more than half of my life!
I also enoy reading, of course, craft magazines are on the top of my list.
I hope to meet a lot of you and get to see your work and share some ideas!
