I started scrapbooking about 6 years ago and fell in love with it. My girlfriends and I (who are spread throughout the state) make it a point to get together every couple of months for a scrappin' weekend.

My Online Store: In 2006 I opened a shop on the internet to sell graphics exclusively for my scrapbook designs on t-shirts and over 25 other products. So far it has been a blast, and I only expect it to get better! Check it out at The Scrap Shoppe.

Scrapbooking: When it comes to scrapbooking I like to think outside the box and attempt to make my scrapbook pages interactive... it gets interesting sometimes. I also enjoy creating other things with my scrapbook toys and tools. Check out my gallery to see some of my projects!

At Home: I've been married for 6 years to a fabulous man, and I have a one year old son. He's adorable! I am also the proud mother to 2 wonderful dogs. A mutt (our All-American girl) and a German short-haired pointer.

At Work: I'm a research scientist at Vanderbilt University. I perform studies to determine the structure of prions and amyloids which are the proteins behind such diseases as "Mad Cow disease", Alzheimer's, and type II diabetes. But at heart, I'm a creative, crafty person who can't wait to get home and design something. Whether its on paper or on my computer - its all fun to me!
