 Hi there! My name is Heather. I'm a California Girl (born & raised) now transplanted to the South and I love it here! I've been happily married to my wonderful husband & best friend Mark since January 10, 1998. He is *really* into photography so that helps with my scrapbooking too! We have 5 fur-babies; 2 male cats (Tabasco & Pepper), 2 female cats (Jasmine & Sage) and 1 Golden Retriever named Rusty. We do not have any children yet, but we are hoping that will happen soon.
I was asked to describe myself in 5 words and this was my response:

I have been scrapbooking since 1998. I don't consider it a 'hobby', it's more like an obsession! I am always looking for new ideas and love to meet fellow scrapbookers. I have recently started getting into digital scrapbooking and that's a lot of fun too! I am a paper freak! I have more paper than I think I will ever be able to use, but that doesn't keep me from buying more! Another thing I love to use in my layouts are buttons and ribbon. I'm just now starting my collection of those items but it seems to be growing rather quickly!
Music is another big part of my life. I have played the flute since I was 4 years old. I played all through elementary school, junior high, high school and college. To this day I even pick it up and play every now and then. I also play the piano and love to sing. I sang in the choir in high school and started playing piano my Senior year in high school.
Speaking of music.....as you can see in my display name 'DMB' (Dave Matthews Band for those who don't know) is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE band ever! The 'nancie' part is because "Dancing Nancies" is my favorite song. I have been a big fan since they first came out in 1991. In 1996 is when I REALLY started listening to their music. I listen to DMB about 98% of the time. The other 2% of the time I listen to a mixture of things like Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Enya, etc. I am almost always listening to music! All day at work I listen to my iPod and it's packed full of every DMB song ever recorded (studio and live versions). Yep, I'm obsessed with DMB just as much as I am with scrapbooking!
I love: purple, cats, tulips, ebay, Coca-Cola, cheese, Reese's PB Cups, avocados, tomato juice, funky socks, a clean house, snail mail, chattng online, sweet iced tea, cardinals, yard sales, antique shops, sleeping in, staying in my pj's all day, my iPod, visiting family in CT and UT, reality TV, gardening & ice cream.
I collect: DMB memorabilia, cats, tulips, country/primitive decorations, ladybugs, picture frames, stationary, mini tea sets, bells, grapes, candles, magnets, Garfield & Tigger.
When I'm not scrappin' or at work, I'm either shopping on ebay or playing with my cats.
