Bio: I'm a mild mannered (yeah...right) mother of 2 gorgeous children who are destined for greatness.
I am currently engaged in a struggle with MS but I refuse to consider myself to be a MS sufferer because I still have a little fight left in me.
Aloof at times, chatty at others, I like to fancy myself nice enough to be around for a minute or 2... or 3. I'm just getting back into the sociable groove but it's still been a bit slow going since i am still coming to grips with my illness. I am forever grateful for my friends who have been such a patient but steady support to me in my time of need...everyone should have at least 1 friend like that...I've been blessed with several.

I've been scrapbooking for 3 or 4 years now and have been trying to break myself of my hoarding habit for almost that long. I've been on a frivilous shopping moratorium since October of last year and I've done really well! It's really sad when you have enough scrap supplies to scrap for almost a year without buying anything but adhesive and albums. I scrap for myself, my family and my friends...not necessarily in that order. I have entered a few contests and challenges but I try to keep it at a minimum lest I lose focus on why I scrapbook. The only real scrappy goal I have right now is to finish my kids baby albums before they leave for college...it's not looking to good for me at this moment.


Along with scrapbooking, I love to sew, write, read and make jewelry (my latest crafty venture). Don't ask how I find time for all of that; you'll trip up my juggling act if you do. I like to work with my hands, my mind and my heart...that way, when I die, this bag of bones will be well worn and full of experience. Morbid, I know...but that's me.
