Bio:
I'm trying to s/bk 1973-75 as aL.D.S. m/ary in the Alaska/B.C. mission. I edited my journaal entries onto a/free paper w/bk ink. I just made pockets for them. I'm here lk for ideas. I'm in the process of doing Allen as a kid in the 50's. I'm using hertiage paper, mens theme. I used distressing tech. on the papers
I did a c/b bk. for my son,Maya Rd," C-mas seen thru the eyes of a child". He was so ticked since he now had pic's of him w/his gr/gr/mom.
Mom G got a brag bk of our g/kds. I had to order them online from Flickr. This was different for me. I had been making her calendar for 4 yrs. Last yr I did a 12x12 one. I even s/bk the calendar pg. It took 2 wks to do from scratch. I tk the paper & Kinko a spiral on it to hang up.I couldn't match what I did last yr. This was quicker to do
I made 4 winter collages w/c//bd from cereal boxes. I used my new clear s/man stamp set, brads, metal s/flakes,colored chalked clipart s/flakes from a web search,s/flake stickers. My final touch was making s/flakes from shrink able plastic. I found c/pgs and used them as a pattern. My happiest hrs. are wk in my rm making presents for others.
I love playing w/new media and trying new tech I enjoy c/mk more than s/bk it's more spontaneous. In s/bk I don't want to mess up since it's being saved
