Hi all!
Not too sure just what you want to know... I've been married (to the same guy, my high school sweetheart) for 51 years as of this month!
We had 3 children, (one son who passed last year) 8 grandchildren, & 2 GREAT grandchildren. Bobby, (hubby) was a trucker/salesman/dispatcher, until 14 months ago, when he retired.
I was also a dancer, & owned my own studio from 1964 until 1969, when I gave birth to my youngest daughter, who is now 40! In the late 70's, Bobby & I designed the monthly windows for Capezio dance wear. All the Capezio stores across the U.S. would have contests, & one year, we won for having the best windows in the NATION!. That was quite a thrill. Also, you might notice when looking at my los that I use a lot of unconventional items... these are things I have hung onto from doing the Capezio Windows, as once a package is opened, or a garment is used, it can't be sold. So... I brought them home. ;)
During the 80's I did a lot of playing (piano & organ) for the Masonic Organization. Mostly Jobs Daughters & Rainbow Girls. I also taught privately, & for Moody Music Studios, here in G.G. That is where I met Amelia.( She is pictured with me in my Logo) She is tthe second blind child I've taught, & believe it or not, they're faster learners than a sighted child.
I've been scrapbooking for a long time, but not like this. I started (small scale) doing this style in 2007, & it's grown rapidly. I have learned so much in my 3 months here.. and made a lot of good friends. It's just too bad we're spread all over the world... can't get together..
If you have any question about me, or my layouts, etc... PLEASE write, call, come over... what ever. It'll be fun! ;)
