Bio: Where to begin...

I guess I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years now. I started out with rubberstamping, and that eventually led to my obsession with scrapbooking. Other than spending time with my kids, there is nothing that I would rather be doing!

I'm a military spouse, so I live wherever the army sends us. Currently, that means Fort Bragg, NC. Actually, we live in Cameron, which is just north of post, but nobody really knows where that is. My husband, Bryan, is currently deployed to Afghanistan...who knows when he will finally be returning home. All I know, is that it will be sometime in early 2008. Please keep my husband and all of his fellow soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.

Since Bryan has been deployed, I have kept VERY busy raising our daughter, Hazel (she's 3), and our son, Luka (he's 7 months...born 4 days before Bryan deployed). They are enough to keep my running around ALL day. I've found very little time to scrapbook since this deployment started. And, I have a list about a mile long of projects that I want to get done before the end of the year.

We finally ended up in Alaska, about a week ago, to stay with my mom for the rest of the year. I just love spending the holiday season in Alaska. Christmas just doesn't feel the same in North Carolina without all the snow! Anyway, now that we're here, I hope to find more crafty and scrapbooking time! Things are already looking up in that area!

I haven't had many scrappy recognitions so far, but I am trying to get my work out there more. I have been published several times in The Rubber Stamper magazine, and I have won one Hero Arts holiday contest and received an HM in another. I spent 2 years working on the Amuse Artstamps DT...that is a great bunch of ladies! And, just recently, one of my LO's was chosen as an HM for the 2007 Lucky 7 contest! My current favorite projects that I have been working on are the Scrapjacked challenges. They are a great jumping-off point if you are feeling creatively challenged or inspirationaless! I find a lot of my inspiration through blogs and SB.com. (I love my computer...all my friends live in here!)

I guess that about sums it up. I am always excited to meet new people, so feel free to stop by and say "hi"!
