Love this Line! (23 May 2008)

OK... I think I love almost every line from Baisc Grey but this one is so yummy with the incredible fall colors. These die cuts work terrific too!!! I especially love the flowers and the trees... they are sooo lovely when you distress the edges! I recommend this great die cut!

I LOVE this paper line!!! (23 May 2008)

Did I mention how much I love fall colors and this pack of Mellow papers by Basic Grey is just stuffed with yummy fall colors. The solid paper colors are so interesting and I love the cute desings on the patterned paper. This is a beautiful paper lot to scrap all of those fall holidays and trips to the local pumpkin patch!

Fantastic to Look at! (23 May 2008)

These stickers, borders and tags from the Making Memories 5th Avenue collection caught my eye and I just HAD to have them. I love the colors and the detailing in these stickers, however I was a little dissapointed in the weight and the stick factor. They are very lightweight so you must take extreme care when removing them from the page or they could rip easily. Also, I found that they keep lifting up from my layouts after a few hours pass. I would recommend tacking them down with another adhesive.

Awesome idea, doesn't work too well (15 January 2008)

This paper looks awesome and is a nice weight and quality and color, but I wasn't too impressed after I started working with it. First of all, it's messy... the glitter flakes off fairly easily. This I did expect. Also, NOTHING in my adhesive stash wanted to stick to it. My Tombow was useless. It was difficult to get anything to adhere to it except for a wet style glue. The end result page loks very nice, but for the cost of this sheet, I wasn't too impressed.

    Great pirate/rockstar paper! (04 January 2008)

This paper is just soooooooo cool and trendy! My daughter saw it this summer online and OH MY! did we have to get it! It's a fun paper and the shade of pink is really nice. Rusty Pickle offers great funky paper and honestly, you CANNOT go wrong with them. The only issue I have with Rusty Pickle is I tend to gravitate towards a thicker weight paper, where Rusty Pickle paper is a light weight. Just a personal preference though. Awesome designs... a gotta have paper!

One great chipboard alphabet! (03 September 2007)

I saw these in the store and loved just how fun the font looked! I don't usally lean towards the fun LO's, but I thought I would give them a whirl. I am so glad that I did. The fun and funky font works really well.... it kinda reminds me of Mickey Mouse. There are a bunch of letters so writing out a longer phrase isn't a problem. The letters are a very nice quality too... one of the nicest chipboard letters I have worked with. They also paint extremely well so altering them to meet the colors of your LO is a breeze. These are some fun and funky letters!

Yes these are TOO Cool! (03 September 2007)

I wasn't sure whether or not to order these brads, but I am SOOO glad that I did. They are a great size and color. I even got to embellish the tops with a bit of bling! They work terrific as a flower center and the color is such a pretty shade! It looks yummy with browns and even pretty with pinks! These brads really are universal! You will love the look they give to your LO's!

Another Great line from Basic Grey! (03 September 2007)

I love this line from Basic Grey. The colors are so wonderfully perfect and the designs on each page are so pretty it makes it hard to choose where to start. This pack comes with oodles of paper, a cardstock stag set and the oh so cool urban couture letters which I just cannot get enough of! The possiblities are absolutely endless with this neat set! I can't wait to go get scrapping with it!

Nice Paper, the colors just aren't me (16 August 2007)

This paper matched perfectly to a background I needed for a challenge LO, so I bought it from scrapbook.com. I think the paper itself is very nice, however, the color is just not for me. The blues are a nice bright blue with a pinky wine red distressing on the page. It has some decorative circles in the design which show up nicely in LO's as almost like some bling. The paper is very nice and worked well and has a nice weight. All in all, I think if this is your fave color scheme, you will LOVE this paper.

Ooohh, such lush GREEN color! (16 August 2007)

This side of green on the paper is FAB!! It's such a deep and earthy green that it looks like moss from Ireland. The paper is doublesided with some celtic words and symbols and it's just gorgeous. The paper has a nice weight to it... I like the heavier wieght papers and this is one of them. I honestly cannot wait to dig into a LO with this paper... just gotta come up with the right pic for such lovely paper!

Nice Buttercreamy Color (16 August 2007)

This ink is a nice color and works nicely. You simply add a bit of the ink from the bottle each time you use the ink on the pad and stamp away. It goes on super thick and matte in color, just like an acrylic paint. For the money though, I am not convinced that it performs any better than a much cheaper acrylic paint and sponge application. Overall, the ink works great, but I am not convinced it's a better product than good old acrylic.

Very Nice Permanent Ink (16 August 2007)

I really like the StazOn black ink, even though I'm a huge fan of browns. It sticks to everything so it lets me distress metal and give it an antique like look and I don't have to worry about it rubbing right off. The black color is a true black too... it doesn't give off a blueish hue like some other inkpads which is a HUGE plus... I always get bummed to get a new black ink pad only to find out it stamps with a blueish tone. No worries with that here!!!

My All Time Fave Pen!!! (16 August 2007)

My brown Zig pen is my pen of choice over and over again! It's really great! The shade of brown is wonderful and it writes smoothly. The fine tip is terrific for journalling or adding little doodles and I have even used the wider side for distressing in a pinch. It has lasted me well over a year and still has no signs of stopping any time soon. I think you will be very pleased with this great gotta-have pen!

    Beautiful paper (06 August 2007)

I really think that Cosmo Cricket has some of the nicest paper out there. I love how when you rip it the core is white. This lends itself to distressing perfectly. This paper is really gorgeous on both sides... it was hard for me to pick one side, so I ended up using both in my LO. It's filled with lots of earth tones and pairs up nicely with greens and oranges and also tealy blue.

Fave Cart of all Time!!! (31 July 2007)

This is my fave cart in my Cricut arsenal!!! Honestly though I don't get much use out of it for scrapbooking LO's though. I find it works extremely well for altered art! There are little purses, matchboxes, popcorn tubs and oodles of tags to choose from! The list goes on and on! I created mini valentine's boxes for my daughter's class, birthday purses and birthday bags....even wedding party favor boxes!!! If you like to do altered art, then this cart is SOOO for you!

  • Nice Girlie Font (31 July 2007)

This is a nice font cart, but it's not one of my favorites. It's nice that it has the dropless option that takes the decorative ends off of the letters, making it a little more gender friendly. I bought this cart thinking it would be one of my faves, but sadly that's not the case. It works well for girl pages and cutsie pages, which I don't do many of now that my daughter is kinda past the princess phase. There are a few bonus goodies like a graduation congrats that work well for cards.

This Tool Kit is a MUST Have (31 July 2007)

This tool kit is just perfect with the Cricut! I would be lost without it! The tools work great at prying up delicate letters off of the mat and the scraper works great at removing those tough to get center holes left after a cut. My scissors are my best friend in the set... I use them all of the time! There is a storage spot for extra cutting blades (not included) so they don't get lost. This is a great set... perfectly thought out for the Cricut user!

Going to Need These with the Cricut (31 July 2007)

Your Cricut comes with one mat, but I seem to chew through these rather quickly so it's good to have some replacements on hand. They are sticky and hold the paper fast that way. the first few cuts seem to be the hardest... it will curl lightweight paper on the first few rounds of a new mat. I try to cut my heavier stuff like Bazzill first if possible to avoid this problem. You will know when they wear out when the paper starts to slide off mid cut. Also, make sure to replace the cello cover each time so avoid fuzzies and fur and the like from sticking to it... voice of experience!!! I ruined an almost new mat with embossing powder and kitty fur.

A Gotta- Have bug Staple! (31 July 2007)

Order your Cricut and order a pack of these! You will love your bug so much that you'll have to replace that blade soon!!! Honestly the blades do last a long time.... I am really impressed with the life on one blade, but when it does finally go dull, it will rip your paper. Having the replacement on hand will end that headache!!! These have a storage place in the Cricut tool case too so that they won't get lost.

  • This is a GREAT Cricut cart to start with! (31 July 2007)

I purchased this cart not knowing exactly how much use I would get out of it, but it has proven to be among my staple carts that I grab time and time again. It has a bunch of great birthday things which make cardmaking for all of those classmates' birthdays a snap. I use mine over and over again to creat neat and unique cards. I even made an entire birthday album as a gift with this cart! This is one cart to grab for your bug... you won't be disapointed!

I was Bitten By the Bug!!! (31 July 2007)

This diecutting machine is just AWESOME! The possiblilities this little bug has are just endless! The additional cartridges are great as well! Honestly though, I get ALOT of mileage out of the George cartridge that it comes with. I am not big on the font, but the extras on the cartridge will keep you busy! This is a great machine and well worth the investment!!! Just hop on over to the gallery and check out some of the artwork that was created with the Cricut!

These letters ROCK!!! (31 July 2007)

These are the coolest letters I have in my collection and I cannot WAIT to use them. I have to get the right picture and then I can create!!!! These are a nice weight letter and also a really nice font too! They really are super cool and perfect for that rock star page!! The dragonflies are just beautiful on the black side and the colors on the other side are so bright! A perfect set of chipboard letters!

High Quality Chipboard Letters (31 July 2007)

These letters coordinate perfectly with the Frog Prince paper and they are a really nice heavy weight chipboard. These would also sand quite well if you like a distressed look. I really liked the letters alot, although I should have ordered a second set because I had a rough time spelling an entire title out of them... not enough duplicate letters. They would work great as monograms or for short words, but once you get into a whole title, you really need a second set.

    Gorgeous Paper! (31 July 2007)

This paper was my first experience with Piggy Tales: none of my LSS carry it and I fell in love with a LO using it. I really like this paper... the colors are somewhat softer than they look in the picture and the paper is a nice heavy weight. Each piece is printed with a coordinating solid color on the back which is great!!! This line is beautiful... perfect for your little prince!

    Beautiful Fibers!!! (30 July 2007)

I think I used up this pack of fibers the weekend I purchased it. Once I got the fibers from Basic grey home, I realized that they just about went with every single piece of paper I owned. The textures in the fiber pack are amazing...they all compliment each other so wonderfully that you won't be able to just let them sit around either. They really add texture to your LO.

    I love the Textures!!!! (30 July 2007)

Basic Grey has such GREAT fibers that I always end up grabbing them when I buy my paper! Once I get them home, I find they seem to match ALL my paper! The Infuse line is great...so much texture packed into such a colorful grouping of fibers. You will just want to reach out and touch the LO when you use these! This is a wonderful group of fibers... you will be pleased!

  • Pretty Girlie Brads (30 July 2007)

These are so sweet and girlie and they add a POP to a page very easily! I think you will love the bright girlie colors and how well they spruce up a page. I added some to the centers of flowers and they look so adorable!!! These are a great set of brads and the uses for them on your LO's will be endless!

Beautiful Rub Ons (30 July 2007)

Tihs is my first Heidi Grcae line purchase and I am IN LOVE. These rubs ons are so sweet and delicate that I want to use them everywhere!!!! They match the earthtones beautifully and are so much softer than the black scroll work rub ons that I seem to only be able to find. These are beautiful and I think you will love the look they add to your LO or project as much as I do. Grab and extra pack because you will find all sorts of places to add these!

Perfect Sticker Machine (30 July 2007)

I just love this machine! I also have the X and both work well together. This machine makes very nice stickers and is simple to use and refill. It seems less messy than the X and you can run a little bit thicker items through than with the X. Changing the refills is an easy breezy job. I can't say enough about the Xyron 250! It's a great sticker maker!

  • Verified Buyer

Great With the Cricut (30 July 2007)

This little X is great to use in combination with the Cricut by Provocraft. If you have a Cricut, grab one of these! I just cut my small letters (under 2 inches) and then zip them through the X and automatically have terrific sticker letters. Please make sure to RUB over the letters after pulling them out to get the adhesive to stick properly... that's an important step!!! The X is a nice size and portable and works well.

Alphabet and a Flourish too! Woo Hoo!!! (13 July 2007)

This is my first set of acrylic stamps. I finally made the jump! This Fancy Pants set is a great set... I really like all of the letters being all different. I especially like the flourish scroll one... it works really nicely on LO's. It doesn't quite fit all of the way on my block, but it still works well. I have used it with both inks and acrylic paint and have been very pleased with each. They wash easily and are just plain old fun! It's a great set to invest in... it's very versatile!

Aye! It be the Black Pearl! (13 July 2007)

I saw this Rusty Pickle Pirate line and just HAD to get me some of that!!! My son loves Captain Jack so this paper was so wonderful for him! It's Captain Jack Sparrow at his finest on these papers! Each one is rich in color and has lots of brown tones to it so it distresses very nicely. The hardest part is deciding which side of the paper to use because it's all so gorgeous! My only beef was the paper was on the thin side for a double sided paper, but other than that, this paper was great...no reason at all to "walk the plank!"

  • Great Set of Chalks! (13 July 2007)

I love these chalk colors... they are great for adding a little bling to your page. They are so soft and glittery and blend in nicely. I cut with my Cricut alot and some of the animals, bugs, etc have little scored details. These chalks pick up those details amazingly well. The colors are nice and rich, but not too bright on the paper. The little pom pom puffs and alligator clip stylus make it easy to get just the right amount of chalk on your page. You will like these chalks alot and if you are like me, you'll find excuses everywhere on your LO's to break them out.

Lots of Possibilities for Ghost Letters (13 July 2007)

I wasn't sure what I would think of these ghost letters. I have seen many published LO's using these letters so I finally broke down and bought some. I do like the endless possibilities that they have... you can put them on a page as is or dress them up with inks and acrylics... the list is endless. The only problem I seemed to have was exactly how to fasten them. I have used them for 2 LO's now and both times I put them thru my Xyron upside to get an even coat of adhesive. Other ideas were brads and sewing them into place. They are alot of work to fix up, but I think most of the time, they seem to be worth it.

    Big Bright Beautiful Flowers~ (13 July 2007)

These flowers really add a punch to a page. They can make a simple LO just pop off the page. I really like the size of the flowers... you can fold them over to tuck behind pictures or chipboard scrolls. The colors seem to be near perfect too... they match well to the paper I purchase. I also like to distress my pages and have applied distressing to these as well... they hold the color great and really get a nice 3D look to them. All in all, a great embellishment! You will be pleased with these!

The best Adhesive I have Found (13 July 2007)

Not knowing where to start in the aisles and aisles of scrapping supplies, I wandered over to the adhesives. Hah, piece of cake, I thought. Well, after trying many a different brand, I must admit my heart belongs to the Tombow Mono Adhesive. It sticks nicely, rolls nicely, and is easily transportable. The refills make it convenient too. My only wish is that there was a longer amount of adhesive on the refill... I do tend to go through it rather quickly. So grab one and a spare or two and get scrappin'!
