  • love thickers! (12 August 2008)

i am in love with all things thickers! the foam is easy to worth with and can even be drawn on easily with a felt tip pen if you want to spice things up with polka dots or stripes. this font is very versitile!

the puffy thickers are great! they're really light and add a neat texture to a layout. the yellow/orange color is super bold and stand out against most anything you put it up against. even similar yellows and oranges!

  • love thickers! (12 August 2008)

i love all thickers. these thickers meet all of my requirements for an alpha: the fonts are wonderful, they're very bold, the chipboard is sturdy and the adhesive adhears very well. as a bonus, always have enough letters to do 2+ LOs in a single pack. i dont know how, it just always works out that way. knock on wood!

  • i love thickers, but not vinyl thickers. (12 August 2008)

i really do love thickers, but i can not endorse the vinyl packs. i keep buying them and i just cant get them to stick to a page. the adhesive on them is too gooey (for lack of a better word) and doesnt adhear to anything and everything i've tried. they just kinda fall off.

    love thickers! (12 August 2008)

the felt thickers have to be my favorite thickers ever!!! they are absolutely adorable. the texture is very different and noticable. they're soft yet bold at the same time. a very versitile alpha.

perfect size for titles. excellent adhesion.

i do love the sprinkles font which also comes in glittered chipboard. i recommend finding those as an alternative to the vinyl.

great travel paper! (12 August 2008)

the little planes rock! the colors and simplicity of shape lends this paper to so many different things. so far i've used it for my son's travel and a farewell card to a friend moving overseas. (i've had it less than a week) i really like the bold/funkiness of this collection!

great travel paper! (12 August 2008)

i've always loved travel symbols and then american crafts comes out with a paper line with them? this paper has a coordinating red on the back which makes the colors on the design side pop even more.

these things are so much fun! (12 August 2008)

they're about 1"x1" and fit in anywhere. i love the shine they add without adding shimmer. they look more like memoriabila than they do an embellishment!!! i bought these as well as the other designs from the travel and everyday collection. this product was the first i'de found in a while where the cost didnt matter. i just had to have it.

  • i wish i could just write LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... (21 May 2008)

Sassafras never ceases to amaze me. always up to day with the niftiest prints. and, if the paper isnt enough of a treat, they include a super fun bottom edge that should be cut off to make the paper 12x12. so many fun things can be created with this paper!

  • i LOVE this stuff!!! (21 May 2008)

the first time i saw this paper i knew i had to have it! it comes in so many bright colors, but the classic print adds an excellent touch of class! perfect for grown-up summer scrappin!

  • a little something extra (21 May 2008)

these little guys are great to have on hand! with today's scrapbooking trends being so freeform and FULL, an extra touch never hurts. i highly recomend these in every color, especially when you're looking to add just a little strip of something different whether it be color or shape.

  • great for a boy who's not a baby anymore. (08 May 2008)

as a mother of a toddler boy, i've been having a really hard time finding BOY stuff thats age appropiate for my son. he's too old for the baby blue and too young for the sports and outdoor themes. these rub-ons embody everything i want in embellishments for current LOs.

oh, and the quality of these rub-ons is awesome! they stick to anything and everything i've tried and STAY there!!!

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! (08 May 2008)

i fell in love with this line while oogling it on the sassafras lass website. once scrapbook.com got it, i couldnt hold back. its just funky enough to match any color of bazzill you put it up against. i'm using mine for a vacation album. it holds up well against the baby photos, the family photos, the scenery, anything! i will definately have to pick up another pack soon!

  • cute little birdie. (08 May 2008)

i got this bird in a workshop. this little birdie is responsible to my addiction to clear stamps. i love being able to stamp on curved surfaces and the image not being warped. this little bird is absolutely adorable walking across a project.

  • perfect tool for the impatient crafter. (31 March 2008)

I love stamping so i naturally picked up a heat embossing tool. little did i know, but this tool has shortened the dry time on all my projects. i no longer have to worry if my stickles or paint or heavily inked projects are going to dry in the time left at a crop.

this heat tool is perfect! it's simple, slim, and easy to use. even the most novice embosser can read the instructions included with this tool and come out with beautiful end results.

  • great chipboard stickers! (21 March 2008)

i love chipboard stickers from BasicGrey! they're easy to remove from the surronding chipboard and have a great adhesive! these are very girlie, but not all fluff and ruffles! the flamingo originally caught my eye, but the other animals are too cute for words as well. the flowers are a nice funky touch to any kind of girlie project. these stickers obviously match Basic Grey's sugared collected very nicely!

  • pretty little flowers. (12 March 2008)

these flowers, while a little pricey for the quantity, add just the right feminie touch. they're slightly translucent and not as harsh/aggressive as some of the other flowers on the market. this package also has i nice mix of color/shape/size.

one con, kinda: in this box and another box i purchased, some of my flowers came out of their package folded/creased fairly severely. i'm not sure if its safe to iron these flowers, but i dont really mind the creases. for me, i just see more texture and it kind of gives a LO more of a "crushed flower"/vintage feel. others might feel differently and desire their flowers with out the creases, so buyer beware.

great starter flower collection! (12 March 2008)

this was one of tmy 1st scrapbooking flower purchases and i love them! i always hesitated to buy flowers because, for the most part, you have to buy a single color scheme. i like to make my own color schemes! this mix gives me free range to go where i want to.

the storage container is very handy too! it keeps the flowers fresh and fluffy while displaying them still!

these flowers are a bit on the small side, but that makes them versitile enough to add to larger flower embellishments OR have them really stand out on smaller projects like cards and tags.

over all, a lot of flower bang for your buck!

  • the perfect touch! (12 March 2008)

i bought these brads in a pinch at a LSS. i really just needed a few solid colored brads for a christmas LO and the shimmer of this pack caught my eye. when i took them out of their little box and started arranging them on my LO. i didnt realize just how dull that LO was going to be until i saw how much sparkle those little brads added! definately a good buy over simple solid colored brads and a great way to sneak in extra sparkle in an unoffensive way!!!

  • dabber top not that great. (12 March 2008)

i love dabbers, normally. the dabber on this cleaner is not abrasive enough to really get in and clean stamps. most of the time i end up swirling the solution around the stamp's surface and using a scrub pad to get the nooks and crannies cleaned out.

i gave this cleaner a 3 because the solution DOES work, but it would save time and efforts for it just to be in a spray bottle.

    a journaling must have! (06 March 2008)

i've been buying zig writers for many years now. mostly black and the occassion color pen when i needed it for something special. they're the absolute best for journalling in your scrapbooks! i love this set because with it i always have the exact color right at my fingertips. the case is a great bonus being very convenient for crops and use/store around your scraproom!!!

  • a good reason for me to buy more ribbon! (06 March 2008)

i just started using a lot of textiles on my cards and LOs. i had the hardest time organizing my ribbons. i always ended up with a huge ball of mess or half torn up pieces of cardboard. my collection is no longer this way. i can easily find the perfect ribbon. i have also ended up with some ribbon combinations i normally would have never imagined, but, since the ribbon is put in the purse quite randomly, i see them in totally different combinations than on color-coded cards like i saw before.

i would call this purse an enabling tool, but not in the worst way. i love the texture that ribbon can add and i love how this purse organizes and presents my ribbon for me!

    a must have!

  • ok, but nothing spectacular (29 February 2008)

i bought this cutter in a set from costco a couple years ago. the first few times i used it, there were horrible results. so it sat in the closet until a week or so ago. i looked up the directions for its use on the fiskars website and gave it another go. it worked very well.

it definately has its pros and cons. pros, small and templates fit most anywhere! cons, its really a dying breed with all of the cutting machines out there, there arent very many templates for the cutter, and you dont get any details cut out with this simple cutter.

i would recommend this to a friend who wanted something low tech and/or low cost.

all round, its a nice tool, but very limited.

love! love! love! (27 February 2008)

if you cant tell, i absolutely LOVE all hambly overlays! the style of their screen prints can be taken into so many different directions on a LO. i have not only used the overlays in my scrapbooking, but also i have also used them in frames around my own home and in framed photo gifts. over all, a great studio to support and indulge your creativity in.

awesome storage. awesome organization. (27 February 2008)

i currently use this box with my crop-in-style tote to protect my 12x12 papers on the go. i have previously travelled with this box in my suitcase to secure my out-of-town scrapbooking purchases with great sucess! this box has met the needs of both of my uses and has made me a huge fan of the super satchel system i highly recommend if you have similar needs to my own.

  • i use it here. i use it there. i use this tote EVERYWHERE! (27 February 2008)

i've had this tote a while now and i'm always amazed at the "one more thing" i can fit in that thing! i keep several different pairs of scissors, paint/foam brushes, pens, pencils, markers, rulers, adhesives, random embelishments, and who knows what else in there. this makes this tote the perfect organization tool for in or out-of-the-home scrapbooking. this tote is way improved over the 1st version in that the bottom drawer holds up way better and the lazy susan is pretty neat. i highly recommend this tote for any and every scrapbooker!

  • best punch on the block! (27 February 2008)

great punch for low or high volume punching. the "squeeze" is VERY easy to perform. compared to the push button/standard punches that use considerable force to execute the punch, the squeeze punch wins HANDS DOWN! the "upside down" use of this tool really does make it easier to guide your punches to get them just in the right place or maximize your paper. there is a great selection of punches to choose from already too! i already have half a dozen and i hope they keep making new punch designs! i highly recommend!

    happy punching!

  • scrapper on-the-go? this tote is for YOU! (27 February 2008)

i am so in love with this tote. i drag mine around at least once a week, usually more. XXL is certainly true even though i cant say it holds all of my scrapbooking needs, but thats more due to the surplus of "needs" (my fault, not the tote). a slight con with this tote (and any other of this size) it does get a bit heavy once you've loaded it up with all of your scrapbooking goodies. the tote itself is very flexable. the interior is basically dividers that are velcro'd in and can be adjusted to accomodate your needs. the velcro panels also have additional storage pockets, which i thought was a good thought.
if there is one MINOR downer for this tote, i feel it would be that you definately need one, if not more, extra organization in order to make this tote work for you. definately something that will protect your papers. i use artbin's super satchel system. (1-deep single compartment for paper and 1-slim multiple compartment for embellishments and what nots) quite a few people use the crop-in-style PSB with this tote as well.

for a random side note, i got bored with the basic black of my tote so i embellished it too! i mostly used iron-on embelishments and it held up really perfectly my iron. the panels that i ironed on (the front and side pockets) were unzipped. i held them from the back and ironed the front. the padding of the panel was enough to protect my hand from the heat, so it obviously protects anything you put into those pockets as well.
