It's good for crops, but I prefer a regular pick for home. (30 August 2009)

I like this because when i take it to a crop, it retracts and is safer.

I don't like it because when i put out the pricker, and go to prick, it often retracts by mistake and doesn't do the job. I always find myself borrowing a regular one.

Don't buy it! I LOVE Tim Holtz products, but this one isn't great. Buy his scissors...you won't be sorry!

Great idea, but doesn't really work well (30 August 2009)

I bought this about a year ago. I have tried to use it on several occassions and have been unhappy with the results.

The scratcher part is not strong enough to scratch anything. I have tried it on photos and cardstock, and it doesn't do anything. Well, it sort of does, but looks like a scratch not a design element.
I have also tried it on paper, and you have to scratch so hard that the paper ends up getting pulled from your hands and bent up.

Save your $$ and buy something else! The Tim Holtz scissors are the best investment you will make!

BEST SCISSORS I HAVE EVER OWNED!! (30 August 2009)

I love, love, love these scissors! The serrated edge allows the scissors to be kept still as you go around curves and small spots. They are weird at first, but you will love them when you get them!!

PS: i have a collection of Creating Memories scissors which are wonderful and very sharp, but the Tim Holtz' are BETTER!!

    Great product! (30 August 2009)

This can is great to take to a crop! folds flat in your bag and pops up to keep your table neat! Just throw your scraps in and then empty when crop is over.

EVERYONE AT CKC WANTED THIS! I COULD HAVE SOLD 20 OF THEM!!!

    Love it! (10 September 2008)

I love this paper! I was worried that i would have to order another one of these so i could have one of each (it is double sided, not 2 different ones) but then i thought i would use it on an acrylic page and see both sides!

Not what is pictured in the picture! (10 September 2008)

I ordered this thinking that there were 2 sizes of each color. If you look closely at the picture, i really looks that way. e.g. Look at the light pink...on the right side, it looks like there are tiny brads. when i got them, they are all the larger size brads. I think the colors are also brighter on my monitor. when i got them they were really pastel.
i will use them, but not what i thought i was getting. Scrapbook.com could use a little more explanations of their products. sometimes it doesn't even say how many you are getting!!!

great for making paper look expensive! (10 September 2008)

use this to outline things on regular paper and it makes it look like it is expensive beautiful blinggy paper!

All you need is crystal or diamond and the color beneath will show through!

pretty but not necessary (10 September 2008)

these seem to take up more room than they are worth. But, i decided to store my ribbon in a different way, so I don't need these anyway. i'm keeping them in case i can use them for something in the future.

Ok, but a little tedious (10 September 2008)

These letters are pretty colors and match great with a lot of my papers. the only problem is that they are hard to separate from the page without them getting a little bent up. I find this with all BG die-cuts. I always lose a few in the process. Also, i have to file down the edges since there is a little chad from where it was attached. Oh no a hanging chad!

    Great product! (10 September 2008)

I love GCD products! Self adhesive makes it even more worth the money...you don't have to use your own adhesive!
I took a GCD class at CKC and these were used along with GCD self adhesive ribbon and paper. beautiful patterns and styles.

I LOVE these! I'm not sure what sled neck is, so i will cover it with something and still use the plate around it.
we ski every ear and love these great embellies!

I bought this to use for my ribbon, but it is too much trouble. i will find some other use for it, though. it matches all my containers.

Good for crops (25 August 2008)

This is good for crops or classes when you are not sure exactly what size picture you want to add. this way, you can move stuff around.

I like the newer Tombows that have the dots adhesive instead. (same packaging, just a newer model) The dots go on easier than the strip shown here.

It easy to use (25 August 2008)

I like having this in my stock. I often use cereal boxes or the like for this purpose, but this is nice when i want it quick and easy.

Great idea, but not sure how to use it properly (15 July 2008)

I have the 7 Gypsies ATC holder and was hoping to use this to punch holes in other stuff to hang on the holder. The problem is, it is hard to get it to match up exactly on the cards. It would be better if it was a double punch and would punch both holes at the same time. I have to use a card from my deck (with the holes already punched) as my template when punching. It needs to be exact so it will fit on the carousel.

Cute but very thick (15 July 2008)

These buttons are great for embellishing and stamping (with Stazon) but they are very thick so they will need extra adhesive or even glue gun to get them to stay on.
They are crystal clear and nice. They come in a nice magnetic storage container with a clear top. Though I'd rather get more buttons and a cheaper case. I have my own storage solutions.
